WALKING in a WATER treadmill provides resistance, making a horse’s workout more intense and a better substitute for ridden exercise. In addition, walking on a WATER treadmill can be used as part of a rehabilitation program, without increasing the workload of the horse or adding undue strain.
WATER allows horses to be exercised at a walk in water up to shoulder height. The WATER allows you to easily manage a horse’s buoyancy and resistance on limbs. The WATER may also be used as a dry treadmill with or without available incline.
WHY WATER?
- Accelerate conditioning
- Improve performance
- Enhance muscle development and flexibility
- Higher intensity workout
- Optimal topline positioning when compared to swimming
- Recover from injury without undue strain
- Buoyancy lessens the weight on limbs by up to 60%
